March through May 31, 2013 ~ Dauphin Art Group Wednesday Mini-Retreats ~ 9am to 4pm each Wednesday Arrangements have been made for art group member painting one day each week in the Old Firehall (104 1st Ave NW). We will be in the Firehall on Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The fee is $13.00 per person for DAG members. DAG’s annual membership fee is $10. The sessions are set from now until May 31, 2013. Every Wednesday January 2nd through May 29th 2013 except Thur. Mar 14 (not 13th) and Mon. May 6 (not 8th). Maximum 15 people per session. Please email David Yeo before noon the day prior if you plan on attending so he can confirm whether there's room for you and so we know how many tables to have set up. March 26, 2013 ~ FreeFlow Creative Writing Session ~ 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm Calling all Poets, Bards and Storytellers! Free yourself from writer’s block; bring your pen, paper and desire to write. Free-flow writing with a group of fellow wordsmiths is a fun way to bypass self-criticism and freely express yourself. We do three back-to-back free-flow writing exercises using creative triggers such as random words, objects, images, and more. Inspiring, supportive, minimal cost. April 8 & 15, 2013 ~ Art Journal 101! ~ 7pm to 10pm Make and Decorate a Complete Art Journal during 2 evenings. April 8 – create the journal. April 15 – decorate the journal. 7pm to 10 pm in the Watson Room. Cost is $20 for DDAAC members, $24 for non members. Supply Kit - $25 – includes everything to make the journal and decorate it. May 18 & 19, 2013 ~ Dauphin Art Group Workshop ~ 9am to 4pm each day Dauphin Art Group has booked the old Firehall for a weekend art retreat for anyone who wishes to follow up on prior workshop projects or other artistic endeavours!!!! No Instructor. The cost per day is $13.00 for Members, member dues are $10 per year. Come for 1 day, come for both! Bring a bag lunch and join us for a weekend of painting and drawing.
